Welcome!
My name is Molly (she/her) and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) located in Western Pennsylvania. I provide individual, one-on-one therapy via telehealth to adults within the state of Pennsylvania. I enjoy working with clients within the neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ communities, as I am a member of these communities myself.
What I Help With
Self-Discovery/Identity
Anxiety
Stress Management
Life Transitions
Relationship Issues
People-Pleasing Tendencies
Neurodivergence - particularly ADHD/AuDHD/Autism Level 1 (affirming, acceptance-based therapy, not structured skills coaching)
What To Expect
My values include, though are not limited to, authenticity, autonomy, choice, compassion, curiosity, humor, nonjudgement, transparency, and social justice. These values often show up for me in my role as a therapist.
I am LGBTQ+ affirming, neurodivergent affirming, consensual non-monogamy affirming, and weight-inclusive.
I tend to embody a casual and patient energy as a therapist, and do not hold my client's to any set standards apart from mutual respect - you are allowed to laugh, cry, scream, eat, take a break, wear your pajamas, craft, play with fidget toys, and do whatever else you need to do to take care of yourself during our therapy sessions.
I am a Gestalt-trained, feminist-oriented therapist. I have completed a two-year postgraduate training at the Gestalt Institute of Pittsburgh and am currently completing a third advanced year of training. I may also incorporate other therapeutic approaches when helpful. To learn more about my approach to therapy, visit this page.
I often show up to sessions dressed "casually" (t-shirt, sweatshirt, baseball hat, etc.). I do this to support my own comfort and authenticity, which allows me to feel more present with my clients, and to challenge rules/expectations set by others/society (who decided sweatshirts aren't professional anyways?).
When I'm not providing therapy, I'm usually spending time with my chosen family (including pets), listening to comedy podcasts, rewatching my favorite TV shows, traveling to new and familiar places, going to concerts, finding something delicious to eat, planning my next tattoo, or starting a new hobby that may or may not stick (probably the latter).
