I provide one-on-one therapy services via telehealth to adults within the state of Pennsylvania. In-person counseling may be offered on a very limited basis.
At this time, I do not offer relationship therapy or family therapy.
Insurance
I am able to accept the following:
Most Commercial Highmark/BCBS, UnitedHealthcare/Optum, Aetna, and UPMC plans
Medicare Part B, Highmark Advantage, and UPMC for Life
UPMC for You (Allegheny County only)
Here is a guide to check whether I am in-network with your insurance plan.
Self-Pay
If not using insurance, my self-pay fees are:
Intake Appointment: $150
53-60 Minute Psychotherapy Appointment: $135
For those who cannot afford my self-pay fees, I offer a sliding scale of $75-$135 (what is a sliding scale?). Please note, I have a limited amount of slots in the lower range ($75-$99) of my sliding scale
Self-Pay and Sliding Scale are the options with the greatest level of confidentiality/privacy, as I am not obligated to record a diagnosis and would not need to release records to an insurance company (if using insurance, an insurance company is able to "audit" a medical record, which means they access a client's notes and treatment plan).
Out-of-Network Reimbursement
If I do not accept your insurance plan, I am happy to provide a superbill (a.k.a. detailed receipt) for you to submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. This means that you would pay my self-pay fees (see above) for each appointment and then request for insurance to reimburse you. Reimbursement amounts vary by insurance plan. Please use this guide to check what coverage your plan provides for out-of-network services.
